The International Committee for the Red Cross lauded today “the great humanitarian deeds” of the American Joint Distribution Committee.

Leopold Boissier, president of the International Committee, praised the JDC in a letter of good wishes on the occasion of the 100th year of the founding of the International Red Cross. He described the JDC as an organization “with which we have worked in close collaboration through particularly dark periods of contemporary history.”
