Mrs. Amalia Fliman has been elected chairman of Chile’s Zionist Federation by the 43rd Chilean Zionist Congress here. Kurt Loebel has been elected secretary.
During the congress sessions, plans for expanding the emigration of Jews from South America to Israel were discussed by delegates from Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Peru and Colombia. Leo Dultzin, a member of the Jewish Agency executive in Jerusalem, took part in the discussions.
