The Soviet Embassy here returned to its senders yesterday an unopened letter containing resolutions urging the Soviet Union to grant religious and cultural freedom to Russian Jewry.
The resolutions were adopted earlier this month at a conference of Latin American intellectuals called to study the issue. A delegation brought the resolutions to the Soviet Embassy which refused to accept them. The resolutions were then mailed to the Embassy. The unopened letter was returned to Austregesilo Athayde, chairman of the conference.
