Mapai Convention Appeals to Moscow on Treatment of Jews in Russia

A unanimous appeal to Soviet authorities to open the gates for Jews wishing to emigrate to Israel marked the close of the Ninth Mapai convention here. The convention also appealed to Moscow to grant Jews full religious, national and cultural rights and to abolish all restrictions on their observance of Jewish tradition.
