Aron Vergelis, editor of the Sovietische Heimland, the only Yiddish-language periodical published in the Soviet Union, is coming to the United States next month, it was revealed here today. Mr. Vergelis has been the principal unofficial Soviet apologist in the last year in regard to the situation of Soviet Jewry.
He is coming to the United States as a member of a delegation of prominent Soviet writers being sent here by the Soviet Government as part of a cultural exchange team.
