Samuel Rubin, prominent Jewish philanthropist and president of the America Israel Cultural Foundation, was awarded this weekend a New York University presidential citation by Dr. James M. Hester, president of the university.
A founder of the University’s Medical Center, and of the Postgraduate Center for Psychotherapy, Mr. Rubin’s gifts for scholarship assistance have enabled 138 medical students and 71 law students to carry on their studies at the university.
