The Jewish newspaper in Sofia, Bulgaria–Yevreiski Vesty (Jewish News)–celebrated its 30th anniversary last night, according to a dispatch received here today from the Bulgarian capital. A gala event at the Jewish Cultural Club of Sofia was addressed on the occasion by the newspaper’s editor, Israel Meyer.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
