Two key El Al National Airlines officials left for the United States to open negotiations for the purchase of supersonic planes now being developed by the American aviation industry.
Director Ephraim Nen Artzi and his deputy, Shlomo Lahav were invited by the United States Civil Aeronatuics Authority. The Israeli airline has been offered an option to apply for the $20,000,000 aircraft which is expected to be operative from 1970.
