The University of Hamburg announced today creation of a Jewish Institute which will be devoted to research into the history of German Jewry. The work of the Institute will be financed by the Hamburg Senate. Prof. Heinrich Regensdorf has been named Institute director.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
