Gershom Schocken, editor and publisher of the Tel Aviv daily “Haaretz, has completed a brief visit to Washington where he met with leading figures in the White House, the Congress and the State Department. At the conclusion of his visit, Mr. Schocken was received by Secretary of State Dean Rusk.
