Conditional Peace Reached in Strike of N.Y. Jewish Social Workers

A “conditional” peace between striking employes of six Jewish casework agencies here and the committee representing the agencies was achieved today–but the three-week-old walkout remained in effect pending the insistence of the strikers that their employers agree to exercise no “reprisals” against those who had gone on strike.
