Lydia Winkel, a Dutch-Jewish journalist, was killed in an automobile accident near Quignes, France, today, while she was en route to the Congress of Food Editors being held in Lisbon. She was 51. A leading resistance fighter during the Second World War. she published a number of books on the Dutch underground.
