The Yad Harav Maimon, a center established in memory of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Maimon, Israel’s first Minister for Religious Affairs, was dedicated here today. Those attending included President Shazar, Sephardic Chief Rabbi Yitshak Nissim, Former Premier David Ben-Gurion, Cabinet Ministers and a large assembly of other dignitaries.

The Center now includes a Rabbi Kook Institute, a Maimonides Institute and the Religious Zionist Archives. Three additional projects are planned. They are a Yehuda Library of the late Mizrachi leaders Judaica collection, the third largest in the world, a school of Hassidic Studies, and a Torah Judaism College. Six additional projects also are planned.
