The Bristol Football Club rejected today a request by Sir Oswald Mosley’s fascist Union Movement to hold a rally on the club’s grounds. A Mosley spokesman in Bristol called the rejection a “contemptible ban on free speech.”

Bristol city officials previously had refused the movement the use of a hall in the City Center.
