Israel’s Deputy Defense Minister Leaves London; Satisfied with Results

Shimon Peres, Israel’s Deputy Defense Minister, left here today for Paris to Join Gen, Yitzbak Rabin, Israel’s Chief of Staff and Air Force Commander Ezer Weizmann, who have been conferring for several days with French military officials.

During a private visit of a few days in London, Peres visited an air show and paid a courtesy visit to Defense Minister Peter Thurnycraft. Julian Amery, the British Aviation Minister, tendered a luncheon in honor of the Israeli Defense official. The exchange of views between the British officials and Peres was conducted in a friendly atmosphere and Peres was reported to be well satisfied with the results of his visit.
