Brigadier General E. Ben-Arzi, president of El Al Israel Airlines, today received a citation from the American Society of Travel Agents, for Israel’s “courageous stand” in fighting against the continuation of pro-rata charter travel to Israel. The award was presented at the 34th annual World Travel Congress here which he addressed. In his response he urged the delegates to play a responsible part in the growth and development of the tourist factor, warning against the “blandishments of the get-rich-quick gimmick, the here-today-gone-tomorrow operator, the below-the-belt discount and the under-the-table arrangement. “
