Simon Isaacs, a member of a prominent Australian Jewish family, was appointed here today as a judge of the Supreme Court. With Mr. Isaacs’ ascension to the bench, there are now five Jewish judges here. The Isaacs family has been prominent in Jewish and commonwealth affairs here since the family first settled in Australia after emigrating from Holland in the early part of this century.
