Theodore Kollek, for many years director-general of the Prime Minister’s Office, today asked Premier Levi Eshkol to relieve him from his duties, to enable him to devote full time to the completion of the National Museum in Jerusalem, which is due to open in May of next year.
In a letter to Premier Eshkol, Mr. Kollek said that he would continue to deal with tourism, and would remain at the Premier’s disposal for any special task which he may be requested to perform.
