The Dutch organizations of political prisoners and resistance fighters today protested sharply in letters to West Germany’s Chancellor Ludwig Erhard against Bonn’s decision not to extend the statute of limitations for the prosecution of major war criminals beyond the present deadline, next May. In the identically worded letters, the organizations told the German Chancellor that failure to prosecute the major war criminals would constitute “dishonor to ten million victims of Nazism.”
