Israel’s first resident Ambassador to Panama, Levi Allon, presented his credentials today to President Marco A. Robles in an impressive ceremony at the Presidential Palace attended by senior Government officials, leaders of the Jewish community and members of the Israel Embassy staff.

Last night, Ambassador Allon attended a reception given in his honor by the Panama Jewish community. Among the guests at the reception were Vice President Max Delvalle, the first Jew ever to occupy that high position, and Deputy Moises Cohen and Woodrow de Castro, president of the Joint Jewish Advisory Board of Panama.
