The Montreal branch of the Canadian Jewish Congress and the YM-YWHA of Montreal were designated today as members of a Greater Montreal advisory committee on school planning, formed by the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal.
The advisory committee is to help the board implement suggestions projected recently by the Quebec Minister of Education to advance an accelerated program for the development of regional school equipment, according to a comprehensive plan. A long list of other organizations, in addition to the two Jewish representative bodies, has been named by the board to serve on the advisory committee.
