The Jerusalem Journalists Association tendered today a luncheon in honor of Eleazar Lipsky, president of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
The editors stressed the importance of the JTA as the main source of news of the Jewish world and supplier of Israeli news to Jewish communities throughout the world, emphasizing the need for expansion of the JTA. Mr. Lipsky described some of the problems involved in JTA operations.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
