Nazi Chief Sentenced in Austria to 15 Years for Mass-murder of Jews

Friedrich Lex, the wartime Nazi chief in Tarnopol in occupied Poland, was sentenced this weekend to 15 years’ imprisonment on war crimes charges. Lex had been found guilty in connection with the murder of thousands of Jewish victims in Tarnopol.
