Brandeis University will dedicate its new $3,500,000 Nate B, and Frances Spingold Theater Arts Center tomorrow in ceremonies which will be attended by leading personalities in the theatrical world. Among those taking part will be Mrs. Spingold, who, with her late husband, Nate B. Spingold, vice-president of Columbia Pictures, made the Theater Arts Center possible.
The three-story arts center has a 750-seat main auditorium, a 150-seat director’s theater, a dance studio and a gallery that will display works from the Spingold art collection and items associated with the theater. The building is also equipped with a flexible theater suitable as proscenium stage, arena or television studio. There are also facilities for study rooms and faculty offices.
