A leading South African newspaper, “Die Vaderland,” has retracted an anti-Jewish article reprinted in its columns from the American anti-Semitic publication “Common Sense,” which described as “a great lie” the Jewish contention that Hitler was responsible for the murder of six million Jews.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
