The Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities decided on the creation of a Jewish Museum in Basel at its Assembly. The Federation is comprised of the 24 Jewish communities in Switzerland totaling 4,600 families.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
