Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization and of the World Jewish Congress, told press representatives here that he considers his way of dealing with the problem of Soviet Jewry as the right one and is not afraid of criticism.
The world Zionist leader emphasized that whatever he said was in his own name. He stressed that he would have preferred that the problem of Russian Jewry be dealt with by Jewish organizations in countries outside of Israel. “In Russia, they listen more to the voices coming from New York and Chicago,” he stated.
