President Jonas of Austria awarded yesterday to Georg Kuenstilinger, Jewish author and newspaper owner, the Silver Order of Merit of the Republic of Austria.
Mr. Kuenstilinger is the owner of the only Jewish monthly, “Neue Welt,” in Austria. He has gained a nationwide reputation for his untiring campaign against the revival of Nazism in Austria and for restitution to the victims of Nazism.
