Issues of fund-raising and organization for Israel were evaluated at a series of meetings between officials of the United Israel Appeal of Canada and the Zionist Organization of Canada with Dr. Israel Goldstein, world chairman of the United Israel Appeal. The meetings were held in Montreal and Toronto.
After the Montreal discussions, Dr. Goldstein conferred with Toronto UIA and ZOC local leaders, and with officials of the Toronto United Jewish Appeal and the Women’s Division of the Toronto United Jewish Appeal. Dr. Goldstein also addressed a special gifts dinner in Montreal of the 1965 Joint Campaign for the Combined Jewish Appeal and the United Israel Appeal.
