Lt. Col. Maurice Kleinberg, Jewish chaplain for the military district of Washington, was promoted today to full colonel, making him the highest ranking Jewish chaplain in the Army. Promotion was conferred upon him at ceremonies in the office of Maj. Gen. Charles E. Brown, Jr., chief of chaplains, at the Pentagon.
