Yiddish University in Poland Offers Evening Classes for All

The Yiddish Peoples University in Wroclaw, Poland, has begun offering evening classes at the university level for those without a regular education, it was reported here today from Wroclaw. The institution is sponsored by the Jewish Social and Cultural Association.

The International Red Cross has awarded a Florence Nightingale Medal to a Polish-Jewish nurse, Liuba Blum-Bielietzka, for dedication and rare courage in the course of her duty as a nurse, it was reported here today from Warsaw.
