Tel Aviv’s Hatikva quarter erupted in juvenile violence this weekend for the second time in five days as thousands of youths blocked the intersection of two streets, stoned cars and molested drivers.
Police arrested 49 of the rioters aged 15 to 28 before finally dispersing the crowd. Two policemen were slightly injured. Forty-five youths were arrested after a similar incident earlier last week.
