Israel has been invited to attend the closing session of the Ecumenical Council this week. Israel is sending a special mission, consisting of Ambassador Arye Aroch of the Foreign Ministry; Nissim Yaish, Charge D’Affaires at the Israel Embassy in Rome; and Saul Colbi, director of the Department of Christian Communities in the Religious Affairs Ministry.
