A 52-year-old Jew who lives now in Munich, today accused a former member of the Gestapo, Johann Bornholt, of having shot his entire family in Nowy Sacz, Poland, during World War II. Bornholt is one of several ex-Nazis on trial now for war crimes in the court at Bochum, West Germany.

Schaechter also told the court that the Gestapo officers at Nowy Sacs forced young Jewish children to watch the execution of their parents. The Nazis, he said, would feed the children a good breakfast, consisting of rolls and coffee, before killing them.
