The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, a 55-member body which includes four Arab states among its members, today reelected Israel to membership on its vital Committee on Manufacture. Israel received 43 votes, being chosen for a full, three-year term. When first elected to that committee, in 1965, Israel got only 39 votes. The balloting today was secret.
