Brig. Ezer Weitzmann formally handed over today command of the Israeli Air Force to his successor. Col. Mordechai Hod. Brig. Weitzmann has been named Chief of Operations in the Army general headquarters.
A flypast of every type of plane in the Air Force took place as the two Air Force officers mounted a reviewing stand for the ceremony. A guard of honor brought the Air Force flag to Brig. Weitzmann who raised it aloft and then handed it to Col. Hod.
