Dr. Heinz Galinski, chairman of the West Berlin Jewish community, who has completed 15 years in that post, was honored here today with the award of West Berlin’s Great Federal Distinguished Service Cross. The medal was bestowed on Dr. Galinski by Prof. Werner Stein, Senator for Art and Science. The West Berlin Jewish community now includes 6,000 members.
