All of the 18 officials of a Jewish-led credit union cooperative in Buenos Aires who were arrested last week were released yesterday, it was reported here today from Buenos Aires.

It had been reported that most Argentine commercial bankers are opposed to the credit unions and asked the new military junta which overthrew the Illia regime last Tuesday to curb the growth of the cooperatives. However, the arrest of the 18 officials was reported here today to have stemmed from overzealous police officials rather than from the economic fight between the bankers and the credit unions.
