The executive of the German Trade Unions strongly condemned today recent acts of anti-Semitism in West Germany, particularly the massive desecration of the Jewish cemetery in Mannheim earlier last week.

The executive said it had appealed to all Germans to protect Jewish property. Meanwhile, police reported that swastikas and the slogan, “Long Live Hitler” were found on the walls of a church in Seigen.
