An American and a German have been accused by the German High Court of allegedly forming a secret organization, with Nazi tendencies; and of planning violence in Germany in cooperation with Nazi movements in other countries. Rein-hold Ruppe, 24, the American, and Erich Lindner, 34, were also charged with having as their target the re-establishment of Nazism in the Federal Republic, with the aim of bringing Nazism to power.
The two were arrested at Oldenburg. They are also accused of planning a bomb attack on the State Prosecutor of Frankfurt, Fritz Bauer, who is considered the official mainly responsible for the trials against Nazi criminals, including 20 members of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp staff.
Furthermore, according to the indictment, they had planned a bomb attack against the Central Office for the Prosecution of Nazi Criminals at Ludwigsburg, with the purpose of destroying files there.
A third man — also an American citizen –is allegedly involved. But his name has not been given because there is less suspicion against him of being an active participant. He is not under arrest.
