David Ben-Gurion’s 80th birthday was celebrated here last night at a mass gathering of local and country-wide Jewish leaders. The event was held under the auspices of the Buenos Aires Jewish Community and the Federation of Argentine Jewish Communities. Among the speakers, who lauded Mr. Ben-Gurion’s contributions toward the creation and consolidation of Israel, was Dr, Tobias Kamenszain, president of the Buenos Aires Jewish Community.
