An honorary fellowship of Weizmann Institute has been conferred upon Abba Eban “in recognition of his many and brilliant contributions to the State of Israel as ambassador to the United States and the United Nations, as Minister of Education, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister and for his distinguished services to the Institute as its president from 1959 to 1966.”
