A delegation of the Board of Deputies of South African Jews called today on Premier John Vorster in his office in Pretoria to convey the good wishes of South African Jewry on his assumption of the post of Premier. The delegation members included Dr. Teddy Schneider, president of the board; Maurice Porter, vice-chairman; Jack Rich, secretary, and David Mann.
The delegation also called on State President Charles Swart to felicitate him on his 72nd birthday. Both the Premier and the State President expressed appreciation for the visits.
