A group of 100 investors in “Rassco” Rural and Suburban Settlement Company, Ltd. and Rassco-sponsored enterprises coming from 11 states and 23 communities in the U.S. and Canada was welcomed by Israel’s President Zalman Shazar who greeted each member individually at his residence in Jerusalem yesterday.
“I am happy to see that the Zionist work my friends and I have in the past invested in America has borne such rich fruit,” President Shazar told the American Jewish group. “Tour the country, not only as visitors and as financial partners of Rassco, but also as partners in Israel’s hopes, aspirations and prospects. There may be economic clouds in the skies right now, but I am certain that Rassco will prevail over current vicissitudes, as it has done in the past, and that it will fully justify the faith which, not only you, but all of Israel reposes in the company. It is doing great things within the general enterprise of the upbuilding of the State of Israel.”
