Albert M. Greenfield, a prominent philanthropist and Jewish communal leader, died here this morning at the age of 79. He was a member of the board of trustees of the Federation of Jewish Agencies in Philadelphia and a founder and director of the Albert Einstein Medical Center here.

Born in Russia, Mr. Greenfield was brought to this country in 1892. He was active in the Federation of Jewish Charities and in the Allied Jewish Appeal, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, the local YM and YWHA, the American Friends of the Hebrew University and the American Jewish Historical Society.
