The Israel Army spokesman said today that three saboteurs had crossed the border from Jordan yesterday and planted an anti-vehicle mine on an Israeli patrol route. The mine was successfully dismantled without causing damage.

Trackers traced the footprints of the three infiltrators from and to the Jordanian border. They also picked up leafless bearing the signature of “El Ashraff,” an Arab Liberation Organization “commando” unit.
