Resurrection of a once-dangerous Fascist party, Acao Integralista, now banned, was revealed by the newspaper Journal Do Brazil here. During World War II, the party collaborated with the Nazi espionage apparatus and the party leader, Plinio Salgado, was compelled to flee from the country.
The executive committee of the party, among whose members is an army general, has distributed a letter to all former members of the group, calling them “back into the ranks.” Brazil forbids political organizations except the official government party and an opposition.
