The United States Air Force has renewed for an additional year its research contract with the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, it was announced here today. The contract covers research on certain aspects of supersonic and hypersonic flight.
United States Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Lucius Battle arrived in Israel today for a two-day visit during which he will meet with Prime Minister Levi Eshkol and other members of the Cabinet and will tour the country. Mr. Battle is former United States Ambassador to Egypt.
