Governor Spiro T. Agnew of Maryland has accepted the position of Honorary Chairman of the Maryland Committee for State of Israel Bonds, it was announced today by Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization. Gov. Agnew was installed in his new post at a formal dinner held at the Government House in Annapolis tonight. Admission to the event was based on the purchase of a minimum of $5,000 in Israel bonds for 1967.
