Israel Ambassador Avraham Harman met here this weekend with Lucius Battle, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, and conveyed the feeling of gravity which Israel attaches to the most recent developments involving terrorist attacks along the Syrian border. The Ambassador clarified the Israeli position and policies with respect to the Syrian provocations. He was accompanied by Ephraim Evron, Minister of the Embassy.
